Andrea Wise-Brown is a Life Strategist who has dedicated her life to empowering people to find their inner strength and beauty. Whether it's from 1-on-1 counseling or group discussion, Andrea utilizes a host of self-esteem tools to help people find the secrets of happiness. 

Andrea has presented internationally on an array of different topics from; relationships, self-confidence, parenting, personal growth, human sexuality and the impact of the media on body image.

Andrea currently co-host an Internet radio show, “Dr. Guy’s Monday Night Gumbo” ( where social, relationship and political issues are discussed. She also contracts with The Family Place, a local youth crisis prevention program in Dallas to head several weekly counseling sessions. Andrea's professional work experience includes counseling, psychological evaluations, and child development with such organizations as Family Protective Services, Youth Advocacy Program, and Dallas MetroCare Services. Andrea has also partnered with other local youth/self-help organizations ( Dallas Pearl Girls of Promise).

Andrea is the Founder and CEO of “Smart Girls with Character”; an organization that teaches girls age’s 9-17 skills to enhance their self-esteem. Andrea's experience in counseling along with her motivational skills has allowed Smart Girls with Character to flourish into an highly constructed organization within the community.

Andrea is a native of New Jersey where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Kean University and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Andrea Currently resides in Texas where she earned her M.Ed. in Counseling at the University of North Texas. Andrea is also an active member of the Texas Counseling Association.
